정말 궁금한 것은, 저자들이 말하고자 한 것은 어쩌면 한줄일지도 모르는데 그렇게 두꺼운 책을 쓰느냐 하는 겁니다. 특히 책 페이지를 늘리려고 쓸데없는 이야기를 주절주절 하는 지은이들은 좀 반성해야돼요.

저도 그 점이 굉장히 궁금합니다.
물론 어떤 '한 줄'을 위해 많은 근거자료들이 필요한 경우라면 다르지만... 그런 경우가 아닌 경우에도 중복적으로 반복되는 경우, 혹은 다른 방식으로 같은 메시지가 변주되는 경우를 자주 보거든요. 물론 그런 변주를 통해서 보다 깊은 울림이 느껴지는 경우라면 그 자체로 의미가 있겠습니다만... ^ ^;; 아닌 경우도 많은 것 같아요.
그래서 김현이나 롤랑 바르트도 나이가 들수록 짧은 글, 얇은 책들이 좋다고 말했나 싶기도 합니다.

전위가 없는 사랑이란 생각이 듭니다.
그렇지만
